Primary and secondary education minister Suresh Kumar said free smartphones will be distributed to government school children.
Talking to the media after meeting with officials at the DDPI office, he said the survey on smartphone distribution has already been conducted. Poor students of villages should not be deprived of online education.
We don’t know what the next academic year will look like. Children should not be deprived of education. “Smartphone is required for online education today,” he said.
