
A video of a woman police officer from Andhra Pradesh, who carried a unknown dead body on her shoulders, has won praises from social platforms.
K Sirisha, a sub inspector of Kasibugga Police Station in Andhra Pradesh, walked two kilometers carrying an unidentified body on her shoulders.
The incident took place at Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh. An 80-year-old homeless man died on the farm. There was no road to the farm to transport the body to the vehicle. None of the locals were willing to carry the body nor taking it in a vehicle.
SI Sirisha walked carried the body on her shoulders for about half an hour through the fields. She also did the last rites when the locals backed off, refusing help.
Andhra Pradesh Police published the video on their official Twitter account.
