Rahul Gandhi in his visit to Tamil Nadu last week joined an outdoor cooking session ‘Village Cooking Channel’, a local Youtube channel.
The show uploaded in the channel went viral in social media platforms.
Gandhi joined the cooks and made a mushroom biryani. He also interacted with the cooks and discussed about the local flavours and recipe.
Karur district Congress MP Jothimani became the translator.
Village Cooking Channel, which started two years ago has more than seven million subscribers and is one of the most prominent cooking channel in YouTube from South India.
