A platform that gives free tele-consulation for Covid-19 patients

A unique initiative during the pandemic times, Project StepOne is in a fight to combat corona virus. Enabling free tele-consultation services for those with COVID-19 symptoms, StepOne is a collective of creative volunteers, doctors, health professionals and technology startups who have joined forces to augment healthcare delivery infrastructure.

Founded on 27 March 2020, catering to over 100,000 calls in a day, StepOne has collaborated with various state governments by providing them with free tele-medicine services to citizens affected by Covid-19. Through the consultations, many of the government health bodies were able to filter the severity of each case.

More than 7000 doctors signed up on their platform as volunteers. Having consultation in 33 different languages, the initiative is currently operating out of states like Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Tamil Nadu and Uttarakhand.

The services include Pre-Covid Screening, Covid Positive Triaging, Home Isolation Monitoring, Mental Health Counseling, Plasma Donor Management, and Quarantine Monitoring.
