Jungle Book’s Bhageera came alive at the BRT

Chamarajanagar: The much talked Black Panther which was earlier discovered by wildlife photographers Shaaz Jung and Mithun C at the Kabini, has now been spotted at the BRT Wildlife.

In the Biligiriranganatha Swami Tiger Reserve, the Black Panther was spotted for the first time. In the Bailur Wildlife region, Bhageera has been spotted by the forest officials through the CCTV footages. As per the forest department, the Black Panther ages between 3 and 4 years. The news has brought joy among the residents of Chamarajanagar as Jungle Book’s Bhageera has come alive in their district.

BRT DFO Santhosh Kumar stated that they are inspecting the whereabouts of the Black Panther and the department is checking if it belongs to Malemahadeshwara Wildlife Sanctuary.

In the mid-2020, the photographers and videos of Black Panther photographed by Wildlife Photographers had went viral and since then the Black Panther of Kabini has become the apple of everyone’s eyes. Now that another one is spotted, wild life enthusiasts are all elated.
