The Karnataka Government has decided to resume academics for class 9, 10, first and second year PUC (pre-university course) across the state from February 1. The announcement was made by Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar, on Thursday.
The decision was taken after the minister held a meeting with the Technical Advisory Committee. The minister also said that SSLC board exams for the year will be held from June 14 to 25.
Vidyagama for classes for 6 to 8 will continue. The Technical Advisory Committee has decided to meet in the second week of February to take the decision on resuming the remaining classes.
